Bridgeway Capital

This conference table was commissioned by Bridgeway Capital. They were looking for a table that would be a centerpiece for their new offices. The table is an ellipse, 12 feet long and 6 feet at its widest point. The edge banding around the table was constructed by steam bending and laminating thin strips of ash together, one layer at a time, gradually building it up to the final width. The laminated construction of the edge banding ensures extra rigidity, preventing any bending or warping of the table top. The center of the table is an expoy resin fill with mica flake. The logos in the table are stainless steel, cut using a cnc water jet and inlaid into the epoxy. This table took about 6 months to complete.
