Blue Cherry Table

This project was done for some clients who wanted a unique table for their breakfast area. They selected a piece of cherry from a larger slab in our inventory that had lots of character. From there we decided to do a partial fill with cobalt blue mica flake with clear over top of it to give it depth. The natural tendency of the resin to form patterns as it cures gave the blue resin the appearance of water, making the wood look like a continent on a map.
